We receive thousands of PICTORY Books to make up every year, and never fail to be delighted by the imagination of today's youth. If you need help to decide what to start writing about here are a just a handful of the more frequently occurring themes:
We have also found that several members of a family or class may like to work together by using several PICTORY KITS to create a memorable jointly authored book to commemorate events like Special Anniversaries, or Thanks to a Teacher. YOUR STORY We suggest you sketch your illustrations in pencil initially until you are happy, then colour them as brightly as possible. You can use your own water based felt tip pens to add to those in your pack, or coloured pencils, but please DO NOT use wax crayons, paint, chalk or correction fluid anywhere on the pages. Your picture needs to fit within the marked box on each page, and this is especially important for your cover picture as this will be cropped during processing. On the Cover Page you then add your title and anyone you would like to dedicate your book to. Then for your story pages (maximum 12) you simply write - as clearly and neatly as possible - your text of up to 16 words per page in the highlighted section. Once you have finished your PICTORY just complete the Order Form and return your book to us for processing.
