The Pictory Book Making Kit has delighted children for over 10 years with 1000’s of books produced in that time. Pictory is now based in Northamptonshire and being a family run business is small enough to care about the customer and their experience of writing and illustrating their Pictory story to make sure it achieves the author’s dreams.
At Pictory we recognise that every book is a unique experience and will never be repeated. It is a snapshot in time of a child’s imagination, the subject story line often being what is interesting them the most at the time of writing; perhaps ballet lessons, the latest TV cartoon hero or their last holiday with Granny and Grandad.
Every book is hand finished in our production facility with the personal touches that help make every book unique. This could be including a photograph of the author together with some “blurb” on the back cover, just as you would find on a “real” book in a grown up bookshop!
We have also developed a Flip Book section where we showcase some of the different stories we receive and also the skills of our young authors, (and perhaps not so young as we have regular contributions from authors who are writing for their grandchildren!)
Why not give a Pictory to a budding author or artist in your family? Once they have written their story we will produce their Pictory book which can be kept as a delightful keepsake for may years to come.
